Read What Some Of Our Graduates Have To Say:

Testimonial #1

I have been involved in the Martial Arts for many years in several styles of Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo Karate. In my early days of training my sensei's taught about brief histories of the Arts but mainly focused on Sport/ Tournament Fighting.

After learning about AMACP, I took the Certification Course and learned more from Sensei Crary's teachings than from any other instructor.  The course was very historical and the pictorial samples of different punches, Kicks, blocks and stances were right on the money.

To be an effective Instructor, one must absorb and relay all information to their students, and AMACP has given Instructors everywhere a valuable tool for any style of teaching.

My students are already working on Black Belt Speed conditioning and have adapted the meditation portion to their everyday lives.

The testing for Certified Karate Instructor was challenging but rewarding. I was thrilled to learn the information given in the course and studied quite hard for the open book type test.

It was NO slam dunk either. This was a test you must study for IF you want to be certified. One day a student just may ask you one of the questions in the course and the instructor better be able to answer it correctly.

I am very proud and honored to be associated with Sensei Crary and the AMACP.

Testimonial #2

One of my life’s goals was to become a professional Karate Instructor.  Knowing that learning the Martial Arts builds character and improves both the mind and body, everyone in my area will have the chance to gain confidence and learn excellent karate/self-defense skills.

The AMACP was the first organization that gave me enough information regarding the process of Karate Instructor certification as well as usable/printable copies of forms and documents that a Karate Instructor needs BEFORE teaching their students.  I also received valuable information regarding proper registration within my city that I could not find on other websites.

The online study manuals are well organized, include good documentation and are understandable at every level.  Now this does not mean that the tests are easily passed, thorough study and attention needs to be given to the manuals and questions.  The fees for the certification programs are reasonable, so it is really worth it to contact and work with the AMACP.

My experience with AMACP has been great. It's nice to see an organization dedicated to providing information for instructors seeking professional training and standards. I wish them the best and look forward to their future updates.
